Dental insurance plans have various levels of participation. Before your appointment with us, we kindly ask that you confirm with your insurance provider or give us a call to check that your insurance supports Midlothian Family Dentistry.
You can see a list of in-network insurance providers we accept below, although we file to an extensive list of out-of-network providers.
While we encourage patients to check their benefits with their insurance providers first, we are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about plans we accept regarding your dental benefits.

In-Network Insurance Providers
Midlothian Family Dentistry participates with most PPO and indemnity plans.
View In-Network ProvidersWe always recommend that you verify your coverage and network status with your insurance company prior to your visit. The best way to reach your insurance company is by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card or by using an online member portal. Most PPO plans are accepted at MFD, but please be mindful that out-of-network insurance may not cover as much of your visit as compared to in-network insurance.
Medicare/Medicaid: Midlothian Family Dentistry does not participate with Medicare, Medicaid or Medicaid managed plans.
HMO/DHMO: Midlothian Family Dentistry does not participate with any Health Maintenance Organization (HMO/DHMO) plans.

What if my insurance doesn't cover my dental services?
Please remember that your policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. While we strive to prevent instances of “sticker shock”, You are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefit result in less coverage than anticipated. We always recommend verifying your coverage prior to your visit.
We offer a variety of financing options to help you cover the cost of your care.
What are my options if I don't have dental insurance?
If you do not have dental insurance or have experienced a loss of your benefits, we can help. We believe no one should avoid visiting their dentist simply because they lack insurance coverage.
We have partnered with Kleer to offer affordable membership plans designed to provide you with the services and treatments you need. Our Kleer Membership Plans offer savings on routine preventative care, discounts on other services and include emergency visits.
Our membership plans have no waiting periods, no benefit limits and do not require pre-determinations or pre-approvals. You can sign up in our office on the day of your visit, and your coverage will be effective immediately! Please contact us for more information.
